Instagram reach 150 million images in just 10 months



Instagram image filtering applications for its IOS Burbn has 150 photos uploaded to the server from the user.

Instagram announced the milestone on its blog, along with photos of the 150th million user-uploaded @ janefot.Instagram is a free application for IOS operating system, allowing users to capture, select one of many different classic filters and upload them to social networking Instagram (insta.gram) or share them via Facebook and Twitter.

Overall, 15 images uploaded Instagram per second, or 1.3 million images per day. In contrast, Facebook users 2 million photos uploaded daily. Of course, Instagram is an application that only runs on IOS platforms, while Facebook services can run on multiple platforms.
Instagram has just released less than a year, on May 10/2010. TechCrunch reviews web page, the photo service have achieved several other milestones like. For example, Flickr has 100 million photos for nearly two years.Flickr is a web page, not a mobile application. And many people believe that, take a picture with iPhone much easier than downloading photos from digital cameras onto a web page.
